After 20 years with Deloitte & Touche and its predecessors in the Financial & Special Services Group laterally as the Director in charge of British Columbia, Mr. George Abakhan recently retired to open his own consulting company, Abakhan & Associates Inc. As president of Abakhan & Associates Inc., Mr. Abakhan is a Chartered Accountant, Licensed Trustee in Bankruptcy, Certified Fraud Examiner and has over 30 years of business experience including 12 years of Industry experience in senior management. He continues to practice in his areas of expertise - specializing in business turnarounds, developing arrangements between corporate debtors and their creditors, corporate restructuring, corporate refinancing, profit enhancement and profit improvement programs.

In addition to practicing in all matters pertaining to bankruptcy and insolvency, George Abakhan continues to undertake due diligence reviews, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and other corporate finance engagements.
